Portland Thorns FC has re-signed midfielders Renee Lyles and defender Jennie Immethun to contract extensions. The midfielder will stay with the club through the end of the 2026 season, while the defender will remain in the Rose City through July 2026. Lyles joined the club after being a non-roster invitee and worked her way to the 2026 roster, with Lyles scoring four times during preseason. Immethun's debut came only two weeks ago, in the 2-0 win against the Bay at Providence Park, while Lyles made her debut against Angel City and helped the team get a win. So far, the Clemson product has three games under her belt.
